TrollStore 2 is a permanently imprisoned program that can install any IPA you open.

Lars Fröder developed TrollStore, which allows non-jailbroken iOS users to sideload IPA files onto their devices. One major advantage is that programs are automatically refreshed and resigned. Previously, TrollStore only supported iOS versions 14.0 through 15.4.1. However, with the release of TrollStore 2, this constraint is no longer present. TrollStore 2 now supports iOS 15.5 to 16.6.1, as well as the impending iOS 17.0. Version 2 of TrollStore, like the first, exploits a Core Trust flaw to enable permanent signing capabilities on compatible iPhones and iPads. In summary, TrollStore 2 expands iOS version compatibility while retaining the same handy sideloading and quitting features.
TrollStore 2 – Compatibility & Support
Understanding TrollStore V2 compatibility can be challenging. To clarify, read the following:
iOS 15.5-15.7.6 or iOS 16.0-16.5:
These versions include the exploited CoreTrust bug and installation vectors such as MDC or KFD. TrollStore 2 is easy to install.
iOS 15.7.7-15.8, iOS 16.5.1-16.6.1, or iOS 17.0 (A12+ devices):
The CoreTrust problem exists, but installation vectors are unavailable. Stay tuned as new kernel exploits allowing installation are regularly released. KFD works with iOS 16.6.1 Beta 1.
iOS 16.7.X:
The CoreTrust flaw is not present. A12+ devices can utilize DelayOTA to downgrade to iOS 17.0, which includes the problem, and then wait for an installation vector.
iOS 17.0.1 or newer:
There are no CoreTrust bugs or installation vectors. There are no options for these iOS versions.
In summary, TrollStore V2 is compatible with iOS 15.6-16.5 (all smartphones), 16.5.1-16.6.1 (A8-A11 devices), and iOS 17.0 (A12+). The original TrollStore was compatible with iOS versions 14.0 through 15.4.1.
What is Trollstore 2?
Trollstore 2 is an iOS application that allows you to circumvent the appstore authentication process and sideload any app without restriction and use it indefinitely. With Trollstore, you don’t have to re-sign the app every seven days.

Persistence Helper Notes
It is not possible to install new persistent “System” apps on /var; anytime the system decides to refresh the icon cache, it will return TrollStore and its installed apps to the “User” state, which is terrible because the TrollStore bug only affects “System” apps owing to a variety of factors. When this happens, TrollStore and its apps will either disappear or stop working. Here’s where the persistence assist comes in: It substitutes a stock system app, and that app is still registered as “System” once the icon cache is reloaded, thus the persistence helper continues to run and may be used to refresh the TrollStore app registrations, restoring them to system and launching them again.
There is an option to uninstall the persistence helper in both TrollStore and the system program it replaced, but if that doesn’t work for whatever reason, you can always uninstall the system app and reinstall it from AppStore to restore stock.
Other notes:
TrollStore provides an OTA update method; when a new version is released, you may download the TrollStore.tar file from GitHub and open it in TrollStore, which will update everything (including the persistence helper) and respring.
